The other day I was browsing a really great gift shop in Orlando called Bullfish and came across these fantastic lamps. Called Lamp-in-a-Box, each cylindrical lamp comes with a shade decorated with really artistic and vintage designs. On their website you can even do a custom lamp! I really love the vintage travel lamps and of course, the Beatles. I can only show the shades here but if you go to their site you can customize shades and bases! Check them out!

Handmade Hipster Bags and Purses by ChicBazar and Bella Novia!
I am so excited to share with you some of Chic Bazar and Bella Novia's beautiful handmade purses and bags. I have been utterly in love with them since the moment I saw them at Artistree Co-Op in my hometown of Orlando. Each bag features hip and trendy fabric and the stitching is exquisite. You will definitely not have to worry about these bags falling apart! I have owned my gorgeous Chic Bazar purse for 5 months and it looks just like it did the day I got it :) Chic Bazar and Bella Novia are a mother/daughter team - I have had the pleasure of meeting the mother half of the team - Eloisa. She and I are both artists featured at Artistree and she is such a hoot - so much fun to be around!! Eloisa is happy to do custom work so if you are interested, check out the Etsy shoppe links below! You'll have to beat me to it though, I'm trying desperately to hold back and not buy them all!

Ceramic Tile Christmas Coasters - Traditional and Whimsical
Hello all! I have been working feverishly on all things Christmas - it seems too early to be doing so but i know the holidays will sneak up on me before I know it! I wanted to take a moment to share two new sets of coasters that I have developed for the holidays :) The first set is more traditional - deep reds and greens with images of Christmas trees and Santa Claus. The second set is a bit more whimsical - pinks, blues and oranges along with more dainty prints of snowflakes and snowmen.
All of my ceramic tile coasters are made with the same method - first, I find and recycle plain white ceramic tiles. Second, there is a great scrapbook store here in Orlando where I can find really unique and fun paper :) So I pick out a few pieces to make a set and cut out 4"x4" squares with my handy dandy zig-zaggy scissors. Third, I place the paper on the tile and apply 4 or so layers of mod podge and after that has all dried, I slap on a few layers of polyurethane to keep the coaster nice and protected from your drink! So if the polyurethane was step four, step five is painting the edges of the coaster - it is an unfinished tile when I get it so I just put some white paint on the edges to make it look a bit more finished. Lastly, I glue a piece of felt to the back and voila - a finished coaster!

Handpainted Cherry Blossom Toasting Flutes
I am happy to say that Mootinis has been booming! This past week I created a beautiful set of toasting flutes for a Bride and Groom - designed to complement their wedding invitations, the blossoms were painted in opaline pink and fuschia with mummy brown branches and lettering. I love how they turned out and will be offering them soon on my website and Etsy page.

Unique Handpainted Wedding Centerpieces
For the past couple of months I have been working on offering wedding centerpieces - I played around with a few different ideas and ultimately came up with the pictures you see above :) I am very excited about these centerpieces as I feel that brides are always looking for special touches that will make their wedding decor stand out from other weddings. As with all of Mootinis' glassware, the centerpieces are 100% customizable - the sprinkles can be made to match wedding colors - a beautiful complement to reception tables. Although the monogram is only shown on the rectangular centerpiece, it can also be added to the cylinder as well!

Retro Fall Glassware
I am in love with my new design for this Fall - inspired by a lot of the retro design I've been exploring lately, I found a pattern I loved and played around with some color combinations - I hope you like them as much as I do! They have been added to my Etsy page and will be on my website this weekend!!

NanaCompany Suitcases - Adorable!
I melted into a puddle when I saw these cute-as-a-button suitcases! They are from NanaCompany - I was linked to their Etsy site which you can probably view in the next couple of days but at the current time they are on vacation. Hence - the additional link to their Flickr page - yummy, yummy, I loooove the pictures there and desperately with I had the talent for design that she does!
